I retired in 2007 from the company I worked for after 28 years. Medical issues made it too difficult to continue. I am a wife, mother and grandmother! I have always enjoyed drawing so when I retired I decided to give painting a try.
I would call my style Folk Art. For subject material, I will sometimes find a vintage family photo and try to paint that. My entire family has been painted at one time or another. Mostly my Mom. I have sold a lot of those paintings on Ebay.
I sign all my work "JustD". Dee is a nickname, because I don't care for my real name. So when people try to say it, I usually tell them it's "JustD". So my husband thought it would be cool to sign my paintings this way. I always try to put JustD in the search information on Ebay. I may, at times, have other items for auction on Ebay; but if they're not my paintings, they won't have "JustD" in the search information. Thanks for taking the time to check out my work!
